About djnatureboyNatureboy grew up heavily influenced by his older brother and his friends who regularly hung out at the local record shop De-Underground in forest gate playing beats all day long with DJ Randall. He was only eleven at the time when he was collecting all sorts of flyers from there to cover his bedroom wall! When he was seventeen a good friend of his invited him round to have a go on his 1210's and he didn't know where to start. A couple of hours later that was it, he was hooked even though it was all pots n pans!!! After that he begged his mate day in day out to let him round to practice. A year later he bought his first set of 1210's and away he went! Heavily influenced by the US House sound, Natureboy was regularly buying vinyl from the likes of Michael Watford, Su Su Bobien, Jocelyn Brown, Byron Stingily, Dennis Ferrer, Kerri Chandler, Arnold Jarvis, Joey Negro, DJ Disciple, Terry Hunter, you get the jist! As you would expect, local house parties were the first port of call for Natureboy, playing at these quickly built up his fan base among the local community. In 2000 Natureboy had his first experience of internet radio on WorldWideFM where he had a show with friend and fellow dj DE Hornet. 2003 saw him playing at the dj lab at Garage City, Bar Rumba thanks to Chrissy T. Other radio experience included regular guest shows on his brothers OCS Crew on Shine FM and Deep Blue FM in 2008. Since 2005 Natureboy has been a resident for God Made Me Funky - Bournemouth. Playing in a host OF club's on the southcoast including BarBluu, Club Mine, Bazaar Bar and 176 alongside the likes of Paul Trouble Anderson and Sy Sez. Also a producer in his spare time, Natureboy has a few productions under his belt now which you can hear at any of his sets. Places Played: Club Mine, 176, Bar Bluu, Bazaar Bar in Bournemouth.
